Biography

BIGSONG:

Kholke released her debut album in 1997. With eight albums in her crown she never seizes to amaze the masses. She was only 7 years old when she captured people’s hearts with her voice and the love for music came natural. Kholeka grew up surrounded by music and became a member of the school choir and represented her local community choir.
Her music does not only reach gospel listeners but it crosses over to all music lovers. This was evident when she was invited to grace the stage with her presence in the esteemed well known Joy of Jazz. Kholeka is also known to give a spectacular live performance and the excitement of seeing this soul sister will have you eating out her palm. It is said that good work is recognized; her nomination with the prestigious Channel O Awards, for Best Female Gospel Video in 1995 confirmed that good work is recognized and appreciated.Masizilungiselele, Umkhulu Jehova, Uyabizwa, Linamandla eligazi, these are just some of the hit albums that have made Kholeka a household name. Through the experience she discovered her ability to write songs and she excelled because she writes from the heart.
