Peterson Okopi is one of Nigeria’s Multi-Talented music minister, dynamic Worshipper, He is a prolific Song Writer, Music Director, Skilled Singer and Plays several Instruments, he is working under the worship culture Label and popularly known for his gospel Hit singles like: osuba, he’s up to something, o ga eme, Baba (The Cry) Peterson Okopi is a dynamic worship leader whose worship session is always light up with the glorious presence of the holy spirit. Peterson who hails from Benue state, North Central Nigeria is a twin and last born of 6. His love for music sprang up at age 5. The third runner up for destiny child Gospel talent hunt season 3. Peterson, in the year 2015 and two others started a Gospel accapella band, “De’lighters” which consisted of three people which lasted for 3years but he got the best of experience. Peterson Okopi was born on August 8, 1997 in Lagos Nigeria, to Benue parents Mr and Mrs Adikwu. He grew up in the Nigerian Airforce Base in ikeja Lagos where his father served as an airforce personnel. He is from a family of six and enjoyed lots of love and support from his family growing up. This massive love and support from his family helped him discover his music talent at a very tender age of 5. Peterson Okopi has his primary and secondary education at the Nigerian Airforce primary and secondary school in Lagos, after secondary school, he proceeded to Yaba College of Technology (YabaTech) still in Lagos, in furtherance of his education and obtained an Ordinary National Diploma certificate in English. He is currently a student of the National Open University of Nigeria (Noun) pursuing a B.Sc in Mass Communication. Growing up in a music family, where both parents are lovers of music, Peterson Okopi started singing at a very tender age. At the age of 7, he started ministering as a soloist in his church choir, over the years, he has grown into a full-blown artiste ministering in different churches around the country. He has ministered on one of the biggest church platforms and events in Africa such as MMPRAISE, a yearly music praise concert organized by the REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD (RCCG) to celebrate the birthday of their General Overseer, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, COMMONWEALTH OF ZION ASSEMBLY (COZA), MASS CONCERT, REFLECTION CONCERT just to mention a few. He has also shared stages with top gospel music brands like CHEVELE FRANKLIN, NATHANIEL BASSEY, DUNSIN OYEKAN, JUDIKAY, EFE NATHAN, B-JAY SAX, VICTORIA ORENZE etc.
