Pascal Umunna Ukwunna, a.k.a Sunny Bobo is an outstanding talented Music Star born in the Green City of Owerri, Eastern Nigeria where he gained his education. He was born on the day the hitherto serene greeny city of Owerri and indeed Nigeria was on the run.
No thanks to the Nigerian civil war which made his mother bear him on “foreign land”. Rather than his native town of Amakohia Uratta in Owerri north LGA, Pascal (Sunny Bobo) was born at Uzoagba where his family had taken refuge owing to the rampaging fireworks of the war.
He is the last child of a family of the perfect number seven. After his primary school education, then Paschal Ukwunna moved to Nsukka to live with his elder brother, Charles.
While there, he attended St. Teresa’s Secondary School popularly called STC, where he did forms one to three. Back home, he was enrolled at Egbu Comprehensive Secondary School and was the then disciplinary prefect. He rounded off his secondary school career at the famous Holy Ghost College, Owerri.

Career
As a young man, he was always singled out for his musical talent which led him into Music bands such as Soki Ohale Band and Super Zebs before forming his own band.
The array of stars he grew up listening to from Pop Super Star Michael Jackson, James Brown to Musical Greats at home such as Oliver De Coque, Sir Warrior, Majek Fashek amongst a few from whom he drew his inspirations.
With recognition from great musicians such as Sir Warrior, he was seen as the man with the voice even in the early stages of his career.
Sunny Bobo’s creative patterns come with many notable language slogans such as Ebe-Azia, Old School, etc the love for music comes with style and braggadocious energy can be seen in his eccentric live performances. In over a decade he has been considered to be the King of Highlife music and also an Artist with a versatile musical capability.
The Star has secured hit albums such as Old School, with popular singles such as ‘Udor Akpu Enyi’ a song which went viral and is still a fan favorite till date.
